Editorial Policy
Fantasy Hockey Lab publishes fantasy hockey tools and analysis built on public NHL data. This page explains how our content is made, so you can judge how much weight to give it.
Data first
Our core pages are data, not opinion: player projections, line combinations and starting goalies. They are built automatically from public NHL statistics and team reports, and each page shows when it was last updated. The methodology page explains how projections are calculated.
How articles are written
Articles on our news feed are written by AI. Each one starts from a current NHL news item and is written to explain its fantasy impact, linking to the player and team pages the analysis relies on. Articles carry the Fantasy Hockey Lab byline because no individual writer authored them.
- We do not publish a new article when a near-identical one already exists. Overlapping older pieces are merged into one.
- News is time-sensitive. Most articles stop being indexed by search engines after 30 days, and daily start/sit posts after a week.
- Articles are analysis, not betting advice or guarantees.
